Lagerstroemia indica 'Rosea,' commonly known as the Rosea Crape Myrtle, is a deciduous tree celebrated for its vibrant and extended blooming season. This tree showcases stunning clusters of pink flowers that appear in the summer, typically lasting well into the fall. The blossoms are a sight to behold, adding a splash of colour to gardens and landscapes. In addition to its floral display, the Rosea Crape Myrtle features attractive, smooth bark that peels away to reveal a multi-hued under bark, adding winter interest.

When fully matured, Lagerstroemia indica 'Rosea' reaches a height of approximately 4 to 6 meters and a spread of around 3 to 4 meters. This moderate size makes it an excellent choice for urban gardens, parks, and even as a street tree. Its upright, vase-like shape and multi-stemmed growth habit add to its visual appeal.

The Rosea Crape Myrtle thrives best in well-drained soils and has a preference for full sun exposure, which ensures prolific blooming and healthy growth. It is adaptable to a variety of soil types, including sandy, loamy, and clay soils, provided they are well-draining. Though it is relatively drought-tolerant once established, regular watering during dry spells will promote optimal health and flowering. Resistant to many pests and diseases, Lagerstroemia indica 'Rosea' is a low-maintenance tree that can bring charm and beauty to various landscapes.
